About Us

RAO Manufacturing Company was founded in downtown Minneapolis in 1926. RAO is a successful supplier of Deep Drawn shells and Metal Stampings to customers all over the United States and Canada. Our parts are used in products such as:  air compressors, cryogenic tank storage units, filter housings, paint sprayers, fireplaces, electronic enclosures, small engines & generators.

Since 1975, we have been located in Fridley, Minnesota – a suburb north of Minneapolis. We employ over 85 employees that keep our plant operating 18 hours a day, 5 days a week. Our facility includes both an in-house tool room and a steel warehouse with over 150 tons of raw material in stock at all times. We also work closely with local vendors who provide plating, painting, and other finishing services. This allows us to deliver your parts complete.
